After a two-year hiatus, De Staat is back with a long-awaited new album and an art installation/live show titled “De Staat Becomes De Staat”. With this, they mark 25 years of boundary-pushing art rock, celebrating the milestone with three(!) shows at Doornroosje.
Naturally, De Staat needs no introduction to the people of Nijmegen. Their unique blend of heavy rock, experimental electronic sounds, and industrial grooves, combined with inventive live shows, has earned the band a formidable reputation across Europe.
Their new album, “DE STAAT”, touches on themes such as power, division, and AI, and has garnered significant attention from both national and international media.
