At Down The Rabbit Hole 2026, they kicked off the Sunday to a packed tent, delivering a vibrant blend of rhythms, electronic sounds, and handmade percussion. In April, they return to Nijmegen to bring the electrifying energy of the metropolis of Kinshasa to Doornroosje and throw a massive party!

Kin’Gongolo Kiniata needs nothing more than a few pieces of wood, tin cans, empty beer crates, and plastic bottles to fuse the past, present, and future into an explosive combination. Having grown up on the vibrant streets of Kinshasa, Kin’Gongolo Kiniata pushes the boundaries of Congolese music without losing sight of its deep cultural roots.

Inspired by the city’s pulsating sounds, they create music using instruments made from recycled objects, exploring a wide range of styles. The result is energetic Afropop that blends the energy of punk with electronic Congolese rhythms.

On stage, they give voice to Kinshasa’s bustling streets through rousing songs about poverty, war, and survival. In doing so, this supergroup embodies a Central African renaissance where tradition meets modernity, proving that even the humblest means can create something magnificent.
