Enslaved and Sólstafir are joining forces for a co-headline show featuring Gaahls Wyrd as a special guest. It is a progressive black metal and post-rock package with a heart of fire and ice.

Since their inception, Enslaved have forged a unique bridge between ice-cold black metal and sophisticated progressive rock. Their impressive body of work now spans 17 full-length albums, along with a host of EPs and live recordings. Albums such as “Vikingligr Veldi”, “Isa”, and “Utgard” have left an indelible mark on the genre. Hailing from Haugesund, Norway, the band has grown into one of the most influential names in the extreme metal scene. Raw, intellectual, and timeless; qualities that also define their captivating live shows, which perfectly reflect their complex, layered sound. This show centres on their new album, “Mið”; yet another gem of a record.

Sólstafir – named after the Icelandic term for “twilight rays” – bring the rugged beauty of Iceland to life in their music. Having started as a black metal band, the group evolved into an atmospheric post-metal style that seamlessly blends black metal, post-rock, and classical influences. Front man Aðalbjörn Tryggvason leads the band with a distinctive, emotional vocal style and lyrics often penned in Icelandic. Sólstafir creates a unique sound that is both raw and poetic, evoking a journey through their homeland’s volcanic landscapes.

Gaahls Wyrd is the project of legendary front man Gaahl (ex-Gorgoroth, God Seed). The Norwegian band combines progressive black metal with atmospheric and folk influences in an impressive and authentic manner.
